A cute Valentine's project

I made these little hearts filled with m&m's for the kids in my Primary class.....

They are so easy to make!! you pretty much just need a printer, color paper and a stapler!

the front...

...the back...

...and the best...left overs!
I got the idea here, where you can print the templates and get the tutorial...

jello salad=pain the in the butt:)

...yes my friends...I always wanted to do one of these, because it's such a part of the culture here in Utah, but let me tell you, in order to do one of these you need to have a whole day at home, no babies and tons of patience!!!!...my nephews liked it and Elizabeth even dressed accordingly!:)

Diego's unfinished nursery...

Well, my mom was dying to see it, so here it is!...I still need to buy the crib skirt, an ottoman, a changing pad and many other details, but this is what I have so far!... and keep in mind that our budget was very limited, so all the wall decorations are hand made, and it turns out that that is what I like the most about the nursery!

our ugly and cheap fridge: before and after...

Well...it was time to say goodbye to our 60's ugly yellowish fridge...so I bought chalk paint and...voila!

Love that we can write messages and groceries list on it!...lesson learnt: never ever paint a fridge or anything for that mater at 36 weeks of pregnancy....I almost have the baby doing the bottom!!!

"Papas con Mojo",...my latest craving...

Yep..I remember eating this in Lanzarote (Canary Islands) every summer at my aunt's house....So I called her, asked for the recipe and I loved going back in time to those AWESOME summers....So in case you are wondering, it's a typical dish from the Canary Islands: potatoes with a very special vinaigrette...so yummy...

Downtown Farmers Market

Today Mike and I made a quick stop at the farmers market..I love going there and buy delicious fruits and veggies!...Look at those black berries!

...those are "goose berries"...It was the first time I've seen them...they were great, very sweet..

...yummy foccacia bread...

...red potatoes...

...sweet corn...

...these I don't remember the name...we didn't like them that much...

...and we bought the best peaches ever!

...and of course Mike had to choose the only weird ones on the baskets...

...two of them were attached and well they look like....oh Mike...
